Vegan  nanaimo  bars

These Vegan Nanaimo Bars are made with a Medjool dates, almond, and coconut base, a dairy-free buttercream middle, and a layer of chocolate ganache. A healthier take on the favorite Canadian classic dessert bar!

INGREDIENTS

Medjool Dates Almonds Shredded Coconut Vegan Butter Coconut Milk Powdered Sugar Turmeric Chocolate Chips

STEP 1: In the bowl of a food processor, place dates, almonds, oats, salt, cocoa powder, and coconut. Pulse then add melted butter.

STEP 2: Transfer mixture to prepared pan. Press the mixture into an even layer and refrigerate.

STEP 3: Cream vegan butter for about 30 seconds, then add coconut milk, arrowroot starch, powdered sugar, and pinches of turmeric.
