Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1.5 inch piece of fresh ginger peeled and thinly sliced
  • 6-8 cups of water

Instructions

  • Take a large glass jar or pitcher and add the fresh lemon slices, cucumber slices, and ginger slices to it.
  • Fill the pitcher or jar with water, leaving some space at the top for stirring. Use a wooden spoon or a long spoon to gently stir the ingredients together. Cover and allow to infuse for 2 hours at room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator if not drinking immediately.
  • After the infusion time, you can strain the water if desired, or leave the ingredients in for added flavor.
  • Serve over ice and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, allow the mixture to infuse at room temperature for two hours, but at least 30 minutes. Transfer to the refrigerator after 2 hours if not drinking right away.
