Citrus Margarita

This fresh Citrus Margarita recipe uses orange, lime, and grapefruit juices and is sweetened with agave syrup. A healthier citrus-forward cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces fresh orange juice (1 large orange)
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice (2 limes)
  • 2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice (½ grapefruit)
  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • ½ ounce agave syrup

For glass

  • kosher salt or sea salt optional
  • 1 lime wedge optional

Instructions

  • Trace lime wedge along the rim of a rocks glass. Place salt on a small plate. Dip rim of glass into plate with salt and set aside.
  • Place a few ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Pour orange, lime, and grapefruit juices into the cocktail shaker. Add agave syrup and tequila.
  • Cover shaker with cap and shake vigorously.
  • Fill the prepared glass with ice. Strain mixture into the glass. Garnish with a lime.
