  • Add water and organic cane sugar to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, then lower heat, stirring frequently until sugar dissolves into the water.
  • Remove from heat and add tea. Allow tea to steep for 4-5 minutes, then strain the syrup into an airtight container or bottle with a fine mesh strainer. Allow the syrup to cool completely before sealing with a lid and storing.

Notes

To store: Keep extra simple syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
