This easy Homemade Hibiscus Simple Syrup is made with just 3 simple ingredients. Perfect for cocktails and great to use with baked goods, ice cream, coffee and tea, and more! Gluten-free and vegan.
Place one cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add hibiscus tea. Allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and add one cup of sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves. (If using dried hibiscus petals, use a fine mesh sieve to strain out the tea.)

Let the syrup cool completely. Then transfer to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
