Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients into a small bowl.
  • Stir the spices together until well combined.
  • Transfer the taco spice blend to an airtight container or small mason jar. It can be stored for up to 3 months in a cool, dry place.

Notes

To season 1 pound of ground beef, turkey, or chicken, use 1 ½ to 2 tablespoons. Recipe yields 2 tablespoons.
