White rum - Also known as silver or light rum, it takes the place of traditional tequila. A simple swap that's so delicious. (Try it in my coconut margarita and make it a coconut rum margarita!)
Lime juice - Fresh lime juice is key in this recipe. We want that citrusy flavor to shine!
Orange liqueur - Cointreau, Triple Sec, and Grand Marnier all work well. Don't have it? You can replace it with orange juice for a less boozy drink.
Agave nectar - Also known as agave syrup, I've opted for this natural sweetener for our drink. You can easily substitute it with simple syrup.
Kosher or sea salt - This is for the salt rim which is totally optional.
